WHY we do it
At The Baroody Project, we provide access to afterschool programs because they transform lives.
Studies show that such programs improve academic performance, over 40% of participants see gains in reading and math, and offer a safe space for youth to grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively. With 80% of a child’s waking hours spent outside of school, these programs are vital for reducing risks, promoting development, and creating brighter futures.
